There are two strong opportunities in the investment market at the moment. APN has an issue due to close this month with a minimum interest rate of 7.8 per cent. There is no public pool for this issue.

The other opportunity is Infratil, which is also due to close this month. Infratil is the majority shareholder in TrustPower. The minimum interest rate for this is 8.5 per cent.
