Get creative every Saturday with Shrinky Dink Key Chains at Te Ao Mārama – Tauranga Library. From 10.30am to 12.30pm, kids can design, colour, and shrink their own custom keychains in this fun, hands-on activity. Watch their artwork transform into a unique keepsake they’ll be proud to take home. This free weekly event is proudly brought to you by Tauranga City Council, with support from Downtown Tauranga.

Mystery and mayhem: teen library party

 Teens take on spooky challenges and eerie crafts during a fright-filled after-hours adventure at the Tauranga Library.

Get ready for a frightfully fun after-hours adventure at the Tauranga Library, on Devonport Road. Open to ages 11–17, this spooky celebration is packed with creepy challenges, eerie crafts, and costume prizes. Navigate a haunted maze with robotic help, race to wrap your mates in mummy bandages, and create creepy keepsakes — all before settling in for chilling tales and haunting tunes.

Dress up, snack up, and share your ideas for future events. Bonus points (and prizes) for homemade costumes!
