A 73-year-old Tauranga woman has died in hospital following a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 29.

Gaynor Woods died on Monday after the crash near Poike Rd about 11.40am on Saturday.

Woods was a passenger in one of the vehicles.

No other injuries were reported.

Police extended their condolences to Woods’ family and friends in a statement.
