Motorists are being advised to avoid State Highway 20 in the Bay of Plenty.
A truck is reported to have rolled, blocking the highway.
The NZ Transport Agency says both lanes of the road is blocked.
"Due to a crash at the intersection of Lake Okataina Road, SH30 is blocked.
"Motorists are advised to delay travel or follow the direction of Emergency Services on scene and expect delays."
There are no alternative routes available.
