UPDATE 10.52AM: A truck driver has sustained minor injuries in a crash on State Highway 36.

Emergency services were called to the crash, where a truck and trailer unit had rolled, at 10.20am.

The crash is near the intersection of Oropi Gorge Road.

A police spokesperson says the driver sustained minor injuries.

"Both lanes are open."

Reports are coming in of a truck crash on State Highway 36, between Tauranga and Rotorua.

A SunLive reader says a truck and trailer unit has rolled near the Oropi Gorge Road.

"It looks like the driver is out.

"The road is not blocked. Emergency services are at the scene."
