A person seriously injured in a Bay of Plenty crash has died.
Emergency services were called to a crash between a truck and ute at the intersection of State Highway 30 and Shaw Road just after 3.30pm on February 23.
Police have confirmed this morning that one person has died in Waikato Hospital.
"Police's thoughts are with the family at the difficult time," says a police spokesperson.
"The death will be referred to the Coroner."
