Reports are coming in of a crash near The Lakes.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says police and fire have blocked off one lane of Takitimu Drive, near The Lakes roundabout.

"People should expect delays."

A police spokesperson says police were called to a crash between a truck and a car about 9.20am.

"No one was injured, however one southbound lane of Takitimu Drive is currently blocked."
