Police are at the scene of a single vehicle motorcycle crash on Bridge Street in Ōpōtiki.

Police were alerted at around 6:43pm.

A Police spokesperson says the Serious Crash Unit has been advised, and is on its way.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
