One person has died after being hit by a car on State Highway 5 in Rotorua.
The crash, involving a car and pedestrian, was reported around 12.15pm in Tihiotonga.
The pedestrian and car collided between Hemo Rd and State Highway 30.
A police spokesperson says the road has now reopened.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of the crash."
