Motorists who travel into Tauranga CBD via Dive Crescent are being advised to use an alternative route.

KiwiRail is doing some track repairs in the area and the work is being coordinated with a Tauranga City Council job to do some resurfacing along Dive Crescent, says a council spokesperson.

'Work started last night.

'The rail crossing entrance to Dive Crescent is closed today until 4pm, then again from 6pm through until 6am tomorrow morning.

'Access to Dive Crescent businesses, including The Strand car park, is available via the Marsh Street/harbour bridge end of Dive Cres.”
