Reports are coming in of traffic delays on State Highway 2 after a crash near Whakamarama this afternoon.
Police were notified of a car going down a bank near the intersection of Plummers Point Road at 3.40pm.
A police spokesperson says there were no reported injuries, and the road was not blocked.
A SunLive reporter says traffic is currently backed up all the way to Bethlehem.
"The traffic is heavy, but moving."

It's no wonder there are so many accidents on our roads when this district is home to so many self indulgent drivers slowing down to gawk at some other drivers inability to keep between the lines and stay on the road. If you bothered to check your rear view mirror you might realise your driving habit is not far removed from the Darwinian that fell off the road. Potential nose to tail accidents all the way back to Bethlehem because of your rubber-necking. This accident was over and done with hours ago. Nothing to see here, move along!
