RWL Charted Accountants in Tauranga have been awarded the WorkWell Bronze Standard Accreditation.
WorkWell is a free workplace wellness management programme delivered by Toi te Ora Public Health to encourage businesses to implement health programmes to benefit staff.
RWL employees Melanie Olsen, left, Alistair McMahon, Jenny Marklew, Sandra Morriss, Zuleika Marsh, Rachel Wilson and Toi Te Ora Public Health Service Health improvement advisor Angela Pootjes.
RWL received their accreditation for their fruit programme, where they hand out fruit to staff every week.
WorkWell leader Sandra Morriss says RWL is the first small business to achieve the standard.
She says with only seven employees, RWL were able to involve all staff in the planning and development of action plans to address priority health issues.
'WorkWell has helped us take the company culture to a whole new level by assisting the team to build on existing strengths.”
Anyone wanting to learn more about the WorkWell programme is being invited to a free seminar at RWL in February.
