A Bay of Plenty Lotto player is nearly $34,000 richer after winning Lotto Second Division in Wednesday night’s draw.
Six players across New Zealand won $33,959 each with Lotto Second Division, a Lotto statement said.
One of the winning tickets was purchased through MyLotto and registered to a Bay of Plenty player.
The other winning Second Division tickets were sold at Glen Innes Dairy and Lotto Outlet and Peninsula Price Cutter in Auckland, Woolworths Pukekohe, Woolworths Avonhead in Christchurch and via MyLotto to a player in Gore.
No one won Powerball, meaning Saturday night’s jackpot will climb to $10 million.
Lotto First Division was also not struck and will be worth $1m on Saturday, while Strike Four rolls over to $400,000.
