'Dragons’ judge business proposals

The 10 finalists in the Big Idea business are delivering their business proposals to a panel of judges today.

Following three weeks of judging, these 10 are the best of the 26 original applicants.

Convenor of Judges Alistair McMahon says the initiative is a good opportunity for people to develop their business ideas.

We received high quality entrants and it was hard picking the top 10.

Each person will be given 10 minutes to present their idea and then there will be another 10 minute process where we get to ask questions.

Alistair says once all 10 proposals have been presented, a winner will be chosen at the end of the day.

The winner receives a $15,000 prize package to help with the marketing of their product, as well as high quality business advice.
