Europe’s ups and downs rolling

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is determined to keep the Euro from failing and is showing strong optimism.

Changes in the leadership of Italy and Greece give some cause for optimism, but these positives are under threat by continued fears of a credit downgrade for France.

It has a AAA rating allowing it to borrow money from the markets more cheaply than most other countries.

Overall, the last week in Europe has shown some positives and this is discussed by IRG BOP's Jonathan York in this week's market video update.
