New Zealand Transport Agency contractors will be carrying out road seal repair works on a section of State Highway 2 near Whakamarama.
The works will be carried out on SH2 from Plummers Point Road to Te Puna Stream Bridge starting on Sunday night.
An NZTA spokesperson says the works will be carried out daily from 7.30pm until 4am, up until Thursday, March 9.
'All road users should drive with extra care and be prepared to reduce their speed near Whakamarama,” says.
'The site is busy and is on a bend with limited visibility, so all road users should take extra care and abide by all road signs.”
While the repair work is carried out Stop/Go traffic management and a 30km/h temporary speed limit will be in place. Motorists can expect minor delays.
