The New Zealand Transport Agency is warning motorists that traffic travelling north on State Highway 2 through Bethlehem will be detoured from 7pm tonight.
Southbound traffic will remain on the highway while northbound traffic on SH2 will be detoured via Bethlehem, Carmichael and Te Paeroa roads.

The detour is to allow Tauranga City Council contractors to carry out emergency repairs to a storm water culvert and will remain in place overnight until 5.30am on Wednesday.
