Motorists travelling on State Highway 25A/Kopu-Hikuai Road are being warned of potential delays due to a slip this morning.

The New Zealand Transport Agency says both directions of traffic are affected and stop/go management is currently in place as roading crews work to clear the site of the slip.

The slip is approximately 5.5km east of SH26 and occurred at about 11.05am.
