Update 4.59: Two vehicles have been involved in a crash on Ngatai Rd, near Freyberg Street.

A reporter at the scene says it appears the two vehicles were involved in a nose-to-tail crash just after 4.30pm.

Police at the scene told our reporter no one was injured and diversions had been put into place on Freyberg Street for motorist travelling towards Otumoetai.

Emergency services are heading to a crash believed to involve multiple vehicles near Ngatai Rd and Freyberg Street.

At this stage there is no reports of any injury but traffic is believed to be congested so delays maybe possible.
