Hollywood super star David Hasselhoff likes New Zealand and was overawed by the support he received from fans at Mount Maunganui on Thursday morning.
He was at Mount Maunganui Main Beach as part of his promotional tour for the new Streets Splice Real Fruits ice block.
David 'The Hoff' Hasselhoff gives an exclusive interview to SunLive, where he speaks with reporter Laura Weaser on his feelings about New Zealand, accents and how he keeps his hair in such great shape. See video interview below.
He was in Mount Maunganui after last being in Sydney where he met with crowds at Bondi Beach.
But David says there was no comparison between the sizes of the crowds at the spots, with many more people there to greet him at the Mount than at Bondi.

The crowd that met 'The Hoff' is estimated to be about 4000.
