The road is clear for motorists travelling on State Highway 29 in both directions over the Kaimai ranges after the road was fully closed on Tuesday morning following a crash there.
The road closed shortly before 9am following a crash that involved two trucks and two cars.

The crash spilled debris across the highway as one of the trucks rolled, although its trailer remained upright.
There were no major injuries sustained by any of the motorists involved in the crash.
