Traffic is going to be diverted at the Mangatawa interchange tonight and tomorrow while the contractor places the decking on the SH2 overbridge.

All eastbound traffic, from Tauranga to Te Puke will be diverted via the Mangatawa interchange off and on ramps to then re-join SH2, advises the NZ Transport Agency.

The diversion will be in place between 7pm and 6am on both nights. A temporary 50km/h speed restriction will also be in place. The Transport Agency does not anticipate any delays to peoples' journeys.
