Offerings of mouth-watering seafood accompanied with a variety of entertainment is what people have to look forward to next month.
The Maketu Kaimoana Festival is back in the seaside town on February 14 and people are being encouraged to get their tickets now.

Co-organiser Maureen Burgess says profits raised from the event goes back into the community.
'Avoid the big lines on the day and get your ticket beforehand,” Maureen advices people.
'We have an early bird special of $17 if people purchase their tickets at PaperPlus, EventFinda.co.nz or Maketu Landing.”
Maureen says there is so much for people to enjoy at this year's festival.
Around 26 vendors will be offering everything from seafood chowder, raw fish salads, salt and pepper squid, kina, mussels, oysters, hotdogs, coffee, iced tea and more.
On the day there will also be greenstone carving, wood carving, Maori baskets and kiwiana art.
Maureen says people coming to the event should also bring seating and shade.
'We will have a marquee on the day but that gets filled up pretty quickly,” she adds.
Money raised from this year's event will go towards funding youth programmes like Outward Bound, coastguard, fire service and other community organisations.
