An action packed day has been planned for the Mercury Bay Seaside Carnival which is returning to the Buffalo Reach Reserve tomorrow.
One lucky carnival goer will also walk away with either their choice of a prize package from Dive Zone Whitianga or a child's motorised car – both worth over $1000.

To be in to win all you need to do is head down to the carnival and keep an eye out for volunteers handing out supporters' stickers which can be purchased for a gold coin donation.
Sticker wearers will then be able to enter their mobile number in the draw to win the prize package.
Started in 2014 the carnival is held right by the sea and is one of Whitianga's newest annual summer community events.
The purpose behind the community event is to raise funds for the Mercury Bay Area School which is the largest education provider in the area.
It provides primary and secondary education to families living in Whitianga and surrounding areas including, Hahei, Hotwater Beach, Cooks Beach, Kuaotunu and Matarangi.
Last year the carnival raised about $18,000 which the school used towards a custom designed climbing wall in its new gymnasium.
This year there will be over 120 stalls featuring a wide selection of art and crafts, designer clothing, music, rides and entertainment, and food. Eftpos facility will be available for cash on the day.
Tomorrow will be a wonderful event with plenty of fun for the whole family and something not to be missed.
The Mercury Bay Seaside Carnival takes place at Buffalo Beach Reserve, Buffalo Beach Rd, Whitianga, from 9am to 3pm.
