A free shuttle bus will help people get from downtown Tauranga to the Garden Art Festival Lakes Expo Pavilion, next Friday (November 21).
'We've created a fabulous festival hub at The Lakes this year but wanted to make sure that people who have previously enjoyed festival events in the city don't miss out due to the new location,” says Festival Director John Beech.
A free bus is being put on for the upcoming Garden Art Festival in Tauranga.
The shuttle bus will depart from outside the Tauranga City Library on Willow Street at 8.30am and travel continuously between there and The Lakes Pavilion, via Cameron Road, throughout the day.
The last bus will depart The Lakes Pavilion at 5pm.
Timetable details are available at: www.gardenandartfest.co.nz/lakes-expo
The free bus is being provided by Bay of Plenty Regional Council.
Council staff will also be on site at The Lakes Expo Pavilion from November 21-23 to provide information to festival-goers about weed control and the Council's work to care for land and water in Tauranga Harbour and its catchment.

at the speed in which this city operates....most cities abroad include free transport in ticket prices, Suncorp in Brisbane is a great example of people being dispersed and transported to and back, get people to restaurants and bars and music, let the rest of the C.B.D have a crack at getting a "garden persons" wallet out of his/hers pocket.
Here we go again

I thought that the police had asked for no more free Buses after the vandalism and disorder experienced the last time we had a free bus service. Dropkicks and losers spending their day travelling the roads on a free bus, Great Idea!!
