Economist and philanthropist Gareth Morgan is giving an update on New Zealand economic and investment outlook at Holy Trinity Church on Wednesday night.
The event is a fundraiser with all funds from the $20 ticket sales going to Waipuna Hospice.

The presentation will include an update on the property market and the public health sector crisis.

Gareth's wife Jo will also be there to share tales from their latest motorcycle trip around South America, from Peru, criss-crossing the Andes to the bottom of the continent and back through Uruguay, Paraguay and Brazil.

They will also announce the Bay of Plenty winners of the Kiwi Battler competition, recognising New Zealanders who have worked the hardest and made the most difference in their communities.
