The best bus driver in the Bay this winter got recognised for his precision driving.
Brian Absalom is the Bay of Plenty Regional Council's Driver of the Season.
The award was presented after passengers gave positive feedback on Brian's friendly and professional work ethic.

Brian has been driving buses for more than 40 years. Go Bus Tauranga operations manager Ashley Burton says Brian's experience made him a valuable member of the Go Bus team.
"Drivers are the face of the Bay Hopper service and it's vital they convey the right image to passengers. Brian does that day-in, day-out," says Ashley.
Brian was presented with a certificate and a $50 supermarket voucher.
