Mystery over cafe closure

Tauranga's Nautilus Cafe has shut its doors but those at the centre of the closure are remaining tight-lipped about why.
Customers visiting the cafe, overlooking Tauranga Harbour at Sulphur Point, discovered the premises closed recently and contacted SunLive to help them find out what had happened.

The Nautilus Cafe.

SunLive contacted owner David De La Rue, but he was reluctant to comment and stated his lawyer, Pat Stuart, would comment on his behalf.
Pat would not comment about the cafe's closure, whether it was reopening, the reason for its closure or whether the business was going into receivership.
"I've got nothing to hide. I'm just saying I've got no comment to make," says Pat.
Simply Irresistible Limted is the company that owns Nautilus Cafe.
All businesses that go into liquidation or receivership must notify the Companies Office, which has not received notification of that kind from Simply Irresistibly Limited.
Companies have up to 10 working days to notify the Companies Office.
