Willow Street is closed to traffic for final road surfacing, but how far they get depends on the weather.
The road is closed between Hamilton Street and Wharf Street and the intersection of Hamilton and Willow Streets.

Tauranga City Council transportation manager Martin Parkes says the contractors will first focus on sealing the Hamilton Street-Willow Street intersection.
A decision on resealing the rest of Willow Street on Friday afternoon will depend on the weather, says Martin.
"They will make that call about 1pm," says Martin.
If it rains Friday afternoon the contractors will take the next opportunity either on Sunday afternoon or Monday.
Pedestrian access will be maintained and the businesses on Willow and Hamilton Streets will be open as usual.
The street was re-opened to one way traffic a week ago after being closed to through traffic since June 17.
