All Blacks edge England

The All Blacks have snatched victory from a resilient England side, 20-15 thanks to a late Conrad Smith try.

In front of nearly 49,000 fans at Eden Park the two sides threw everything at each other with the match heading towards a try-less match before Smith crossed in the corner in the 78th minute.

All Black and England first five eighth's Aaron Cruden and Freddie Burns traded penalties throughout with Burns' replacement Danny Cipriani also landing one.

The win sees the home side continue on from its unbeaten 2013 season with two more test matches remaining in the Steinlager Test Series - Dunedin followed by Hamilton.

SunLive photographer Tracy Hardy was there to capture the action.

The Black Ferns played Samoa in the curtain raiser tonight at Eden Park winning 90-12.

The Black Ferns go on to play Canada in Tauranga on Tuesday.

I have never seen such an inept display from an all black team as i saw last night. they should have called them the all slacks. considering they played a b team they should have won 50 to nil. one can only hope they will improve by next week

just to add

the all blacks play a marginal game and get away with alot of off the ball play im over the all blacks still a good team but no need for pushing the rules
