During this time 91 octane will be $1.99 and premium $2.14 at both manned and unmanned sites while diesel will be $1.33 at unmanned sites or $1.35 at manned sites.

Gull New Zealand general manager Dave Bodger says this give motorists the chance to fill up early before the long weekend.

'Reducing the cost of car travel is what Gull is all about,” says Dave.

'With a Countdown fuel voucher at a Gull manned site, even more savings are possible.”
