Sport Bay of Plenty has announced that the Tauranga based investment advisory and management company, Craigs Investment Partners, is sponsoring the Tinman Triathlon for the second year running.
"We are thrilled to have the company back on board for a second year," says Sport BOP CEO Wayne Werder.
"They continue to be great supporters of sport in Bay of Plenty and further afield."
After last year's successful Tinman triathlon, Craig's Investment Partners is backing the Tauranga event again.
Their continuing sponsorship means that The Craigs Corporate Challenge will be held again.
This challenge takes place over the event's sprint distance with teams of three people competing in one discipline each.
"We look forward to having more local businesses step up and enter a team as well as getting along a strong support crew," says Craigs Tauranga branch manager Hamish Coleman.
"As a company we see the benefits of staff being active, involved in sport and team challenges.
"We will be issuing the challenge to other companies in the region and around the country to get involved and enjoy the atmosphere of the Tinman and the hospitality of the Bay of Plenty."
The sprint distance event of the Tinman Triathlon is a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5.5km run.
The standard distance event is a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run.
Both distances are open to teams and individuals.
