The $15 million reconstruction of Bayfair Shopping Centre's front facade is on schedule to meet its November completion date.
The refurbishment will upgrade grocery shopping, expand retail space, provide room for one confirmed store, JB Hi-Fi, and provide a modern look for the shopping centre.
Contractor Marra Construction is on target for completion in November.
The construction, which aims to provide room from another six stores, began in March.
Bayfair management say the construction will have a minimal impact on car park space, with 1600 free parks still available.
Due to the pending addition of JB Hi-Fi, the first two rows of car parking currently located immediately at the front of the centre have been removed.
A detailed traffic management plan has been implemented to ensure that best parking options are provided for all entrances and a 90 minute parking provision will remain at the front of the centre.
