Traffic was diverted through Maungatapu after a truck towing a chipper fell on its side under the Maungatapu overbridge on Wednesday afternoon - blocking a lane.

There was a small traffic delay after this truck tipped on SH29 on Wednesday.

The light truck that was heading down the hill on the straight section of SH29 fell on its right side, stopping under the overpass.
It did not appear that any other vehicles were involved.
The driver appeared to be uninjured.
