There will be 30km/h zones on Cameron Road between Pooles Road and Maleme Street over the next three months because of road works.

The work involves routine maintenance and resurfacing of the road, relocation of services and installation of new kerb and channelling.
Cameron Road, alongside the racecourse, will also be widened to incorporate a new cycle lane on one side of the road and a shared cycleway and footpath on the other.
Roadworks are due to start Monday September 7 and are expected to take about 14 weeks to complete. There will be a 30km/h speed restriction through the site so motorists should expect delays and use an alternative route, especially at peak times.
