Peak hour commuters in Tauranga city faced delays after a collision on Elizabeth Street partially blocked a lane.
The accident occurred at about 4.30pm on Wednesday when a driver turning right onto Elizabeth Street from Devonport Road, allegedly crashed into two parked cars.



Tauranga police say the driver turning into Elizabeth Street reported his brakes locking but they are not ruling out speed as a contributing factor to the accident. There were passengers in each of the parked vehicles at the time of the collision. No injuries were sustained.
