Mount Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park has been awarded the Qualmark & THL Award for most improved holiday park.



This month's win at the Holiday Parks Conference in Blenheim sees the park continue its rise from last year, when it was only awarded a two and a half star grading – it is now a four star.
Mount Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park manager Kathryn O'Brien is over the moon.
'It's recognition for the dream I and council have. I was really surprised when we received the award but felt very positive after our Qualmark assessment towards the end of last year,” says Kathryn.
The Qualmark four-star grade is a national standard for accommodation and tourism related businesses. It shows domestic and international visitors value quality at New Zealand's holiday parks.
