Adorned in a Hawaiian shirt, Massad performed his newly released ‘Holiday' along with other popular singles.

The Auckland-based musician has spent his first year out of school performing, writing and recording. At just 16-years-old Massad recorded his duet song ‘Smile' with Outrageous Fortune's Antonia Prebble.

The single was released on the charity album ‘So this is Christmas' and spent six weeks in the top 20 album chart, receiving gold sales.

In December 2010, Massad became one of the youngest ever recipients of a NZ On Air New Recording Artist grant.

While still at school, his first video and single ‘Tear My Heart Out' was released topping number three on the NZ Radio chart. His song ‘Lowdown' was awarded the best song award at the national finals of Smokefree Rockquest 2010 and in 2011 he placed second.

Massad's Girl Next Door tour included performances in Wellington, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Napier and Tauranga.

His next stop on the tour is Hamilton's Centre Place with a final performance in Auckland's Sylvia Park.

The teenager has been asked to visit Bayfair again at 5pm today to enjoy a summer treat from KiwiYo with his fans. He will sign the ‘Fame Frame' and will be performing a fun rap to the theme of ‘you gotta go to KiwYo'.
