Amendments to the Tauranga City Council Speed Limit Bylaw 2009 mean several speed limit changes have come into affect.
The speed limit on Moffat Road between Cambridge Road and Orange Lane has changed from 70km/h to 60km/h.
On Maranui St, between Sunrise Ave and Papamoa Beach Road, the speed limit changed to 60km/h.

The speed limit on Papamoa Beach Road between Maranui Street and a point just south of Kirkpatrick Place changes to 60km/h, except on the approach to Papamoa Domain roundabout, where the speed limit remains at 50km/h.
