Noblesteed I m surprised you are not suggesting using Baypark speedway and get all 800 competitors biking around each doing 150 laps, all at once. While we are at it lets move the swim leg to the local sewer pipes, that way we wouldn t see them, and perhaps the run could be done on treadmills down at a local gym. Rather than complain why don t you take in the event for what it is. The THI is probably the most iconic tri race in the country. Get down on Saturday morning and see some of the worlds best tri athletes. It is about the only event of note in this community and it would be a shame to lose it because we have a few road closures on one Saturday each year.
