Firework trade booming

One Bay business selling fireworks this year has recorded a large interest in the product range and has nearly sold out.
Switched on Gardener Cameron Road manager Maree Sanders says sales have been remarkable with the first shipment of five pallets sold out in the first day of trading. This was equivalent to the whole of last year's sales.

The shop has had an extra two pallets and a van-full delivered, which also nearly all have been sold.
Mainly only individual fireworks remain with the packs sold out. These ranged from a fluffy sparklers pack at $20 to an Asylum Collection at $185.
The best seller has been the white spider which has seven shot, extremely loud fireworks.
At the rear of the shop tonight, staff are holding a private show which Maree says people should be able to see from a long way away.
