Eleven Bay acts show talent

Eleven of Bay of Plenty's most talented youth are through to the next round of the hotly contested reality talent show ‘New Zealand's Got Talent'.

Tauranga's Urban Dance junior development crew ‘Urban Impact' was among those auditioning.

About 122 people auditioned for a place in the reality talent show at Otumoetai College's Performing Arts Centre on May 29.

From the auditions, six acts have been invited to the heats which will be filmed in Dunedin, Auckland and Wellington, from July 15 – August 11.

Joining the six Tauranga contestants are five others chosen from the Rotorua auditions.

Tauranga's Urban Dance junior development crew ‘Urban Impact' was among those auditioning. The five dancers, aged between nine and 12 years old, performed their hiphop routine to judges.

Bethlehem College duo ‘The Army of Two', made up of Tyla and Madison Gartner, also auditioned.

It is not known which of the acts are through to the next round until the show airs on TV One later this year.

The New Zealand's Got Talent team has been touring the country on a quest to find talented Kiwis since April this year, and finished their search on June 9.
