The call is going out for Tauranga's most talented as the city prepares to host auditions for this year's New Zealand's Got Talent show next week.

Tauranga auditions in the search for the country's top singers, musicians, dancers and comedians are at Otumoetai College's Performing Arts Centre on Wednesday, May 29.

Tauranga is set to host auditions for New Zealand's Got Talent on May 29.

The New Zealand's Got Talent team have been touring the country for talented Kiwis since April this year and will finish their search in Auckland on June 9.

Around 300 people auditioned for the reality talent show in Tauranga last year including the city's own top talent - 12-year-old Fletcher Oxford. Fletcher placed fifth in the 2012 competition.

Both amateur and professional acts of any age are welcome to audition. But participants must hold NZ residency.

Auditions are being held at Otumoetai College from 4pm – 9pm. Enter online here or enter the open auditions on May 29.
