More FM presenters Bel Crawford and Brendon Weatherley are brushing off their acting skill as they prepare to film a movie for the Baypark Drive in Movie Festvial.

The presenters, with the help of some well-known Bay of Plenty faces including Mayor Stuart Crosby and the Kia Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic, will screen the movie on the opening night on April 30 before the screening of ‘Grease'.

The Magic players include, Laura Langman, Casey Kopua (nee Williams) and Leana de Bruin.

The short movie, with the working title ‘More FM's Bel and Brendon's Movie' will be shot at Grey Street TV Studios next week.

While the pair are keeping fairly tight lipped on the storyline and the parts the Mayor and Magic netball stars will play, they confirm the movie will be action packed and deliver more than a few laughs.

The Movie Festival runs from Tuesday April 30 to Sunday May 5.
