'I'm over the moon about being on iTunes. It's awesome to have my first single out there I'm really proud. It's just that first step into my career.

Fletcher performed his self-written single ‘Everything to Me' in the finals of reality talent show New Zealand's Got Talent in December last year.

'It was probably the most popular song I played in New Zealand's Got Talent. I guess when I sing it, it touches the hearts of a lot of people.”

Everything to Me, like most of Fletcher's songs, is dedicated to his runaway cat Sushi.

'But the meaning of the song has to be interpreted by the individual that listens to it,” says Fletcher.

He says it feels 'amazing” knowing millions of people could be listening to his song.

'That feels amazing. It's a great feeling if that many people are listening to it then that's amazing.”

Since his appearance on NZGT Fletcher has performed at many community events around Tauranga including SummerFest 2013, Mount Mainstreet's Easter Family Festival and the first-ever Picnic in the Park at Coronation Park in Mount Maunganui.

Fletcher has noticed a 'big difference” in his school-life since his fifth place win on NZGT.

'I've changed the way I do things. I am a changed person. I am a lot more popular.

'Everybody knows my name at school. But to my friends I'm no different which is a great thing.”

Fletcher says his biggest goal is to feature on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. But for now he will continue writing songs.

'I'm always writing songs.”

The young star is working on a song at the moment which he says is top secret.
