People thinking about standing as a candidate for Tauranga Energy Consumer Trust can learn more about it and the role of trustees at a candidate briefing session on Monday, April 19.

The meeting starts 7pm at TECT office, 96 Cameron Rd, Tauranga.
Information will be provided about eligibility to stand, the nomination process, the election timetable, candidate profile statement requirements, campaigning, and general information about the election.
An election for three trustees is held every two years and is happening this year in June.
Nomination packs will be available at the meeting.
Nominations are now open and close at 12noon on Friday, April 30.
