More than 70 years of motoring history is on display this weekend at the Bay of Plenty Vintage Car Club's car rally and open day.
Cars ranging from early Veteran class vehicles from a 1905 Maxwell Tourer up to a 1982 Commodore VHSS, which was one of 30 built by Peter Brock for the Benson and Hedges race series, are among vehicles expected at the open day.

Organiser Irene Hill says cars are setting off from Cliff Road today to take part in a rally along Cameron Road.
'We have about 19 at the moment. We have had a couple fall by the wayside because of the weather. The oldest car is from 1906, it's a Reo Runabout.
'The oldest one that was supposed to be here was Ray Singleton's but he died two days ago. He used to own the Auto Barn so a lot of people know him.
'We are all wearing black bands to mark his passing.”
Irene says the rally is setting off from Cliff Road at 10am, heading down Cameron Road and along to Ninth Avenue before parking up on the corner of Spring and Willow Streets, behind Red Square.
'We will be there until 4pm.”
Cars will be back at the Cliff Road club rooms for the Bay of Plenty Vintage Car Club's Open Day tomorrow.
