People are being warned of possible disruptions to Tauranga's Bay Hopper bus service on Friday morning as some bus drivers take strike action.
The National Distribution Union has called for Bay Hopper drivers who are part of the union to strike between 6am and 8am on Friday morning.
Calum Haslop is the managing director of Go Bus Transport, which provides the Bay Hopper service in Tauranga.
He says 50 Bay Hopper drivers are members of the National Distribution Union, but is unsure if all members will participate in the strike.
"We are not expecting any delays or changes to bus timetables, but it is possible."
He says the number of bus drivers participating in the strike is a "moving feast" and a true idea of how many drivers are participating will not be known until Friday morning.
The 50 NDU members at Bay Hopper make up about half of the 100 drivers with the company.
