Tauranga based pet supplies distributor Kong's New Zealand Limited is aiming to provide a more stream lined and efficient service for its customers with its new facility in Tauriko.
Kong's has moved from its Greerton address to Porutu Place and into a new facility that offers more room.

'There's a lot more office space and there's more room to expand,” says marketing coordinator Erin Timmo.
The warehouse from which Kong's will distribute its pet products has also expanded and is vertically bigger than the previous one.
'Warehouse space has increased by about 400 per cent, so we can hold more products –meaning we won't run out of stock very often.”
Erin says there are real benefits to being based in Tauranga – none more so than having close proximity to the port.
'We have 20 to 40 foot containers coming in monthly from all across the world: Europe, Australia, China.
'With the containers coming here, they are in our patch, so stock is available much quicker,” says Erin.
Kong's employs about 25 staff in the Bay of Plenty and Erin says the company is keen to keep business local wherever possible and is a member of Tauranga Chamber of Commerce.
'We try to support the Bay and New Zealand as much as we can.”

The business' new building official opening was Monday afternoon and had about 200 people attending.
