Tauranga drifter Cole Armstrong has one of the most easily recognisable drift cars in New Zealand thanks to the V sponsorship the team picked up last month.
The new sponsors received an unexpected bonus when Cole, in the new paint, beat the Red Bull car in round four of the D1NZ series in Taupo last weekend.

V's sponsorship was to help Cole compete in the New Zealand Drift Series, so the Taupo win was an unexpected bonus, says his mum Leanne Armstrong.
The next New Zealand Drift round is in Pukekohe on July 12.
